Chief Diversity Officer = Chief Discriminator of White Men

"The chief diversity officer (CDO) is an organization’s executive level diversity and inclusion strategist. According to journalist Bill Picture, about 20% percent of Fortune 500 companies employ diversity officers."
The company I work at recently hired its first CDO. I want to ask my upper management "what barriers currently exist within this company that prevent it from becoming more diverse?" By saying we need to focus on becoming more diverse and "inclusive," you're implying there is at least some degree of racism/bigotry/homophobia/etc within our company's management. But of course no one is going to make such an accusation, or even really believe that is going on in today's world. So then, what barriers actually exist that need to be torn down?
There are no barriers on a large scale anymore. Sure, you may have that one manager or person in HR who prefers a certain race or gender over another, but in today's world those people don't last long. From my experience, people who are not white men have MORE opportunities available to them in education and employment than white men. When you boil it down, by saying we need to be more "diverse" and "inclusive," you're saying we need less white men and more of everyone else, which is an inherently racist and discriminatory belief.
In the public sector, diversity is typically more about "justice," or the left's perverted idea of "justice," than anything else. In the private sector, the common mantra is that diversity is strength, diversity drives better results, diversity will increase the company's bottom line. bullshite. For a private company, hiring a CDO is an attempt to avoid negative PR or get good PR. When private companies start hiring CDO's and spending money on discriminating against white men, it shows they believe the negative effects of that are not outweighed by the negative effects of landing on some blogger's "Top 10 least progressive companies in the _________ industry" list. What a fricked up place this country has become where even the private sector has allowed the left's perverted "justice" to take hold.

Yep.
The really messed up thing is that no one within the company can voice the opinion that we don't need a CDO or even question whether its a good idea. Doing so would likely get your fired or at least marginalized.
How did the reasonable people in this country allow things to devolve to this? Trump's rise was certainly fueled in part by reasonable people who are fed up with it, but I just don't see the tide turning for good.
I recently found out that I'm bringing a boy into this world. Isn't it fricked up that I think having a girl would have been better given the growing trend of discrimination against white men?

No. It's the way society is being pushed. Just teach your son what it really means to be a man , what he faces and will face etc etc. We need more fathers doing just that and remaining a part of their sons' lives.
To your original point - white people in general are under attack culturally and have been so for awhile. It's very easy to see , and all about money in the end.

I love these "white victim" posts. White men in the USA have it better than any demographic on earth and I say this while admitting that race and gender are sometimes given preferential treatment over merit and I hated it when it affected me personally. But I wouldn't trade my place with any other demo group.
