Just went back and watched his monologue as I was a huge Chappelle fan in college. I think he actually did a reasonable job, especially at the end. I think he went just shy of saying "America made me rich, and I'm not mad about it."
If you're a fan of his show and stand-up, you've seen how he capitalizes on the generalizations and stereotypes of society for humor. I know he's liberal, but he does a better job than most at keeping it together.

ETA: As I said in another thread. Chappelle's monologue was frickin on point and The Walking Dead skit was hilarious. Made me want the show back so bad.

He was more even-handed than I expected and did a good job finding some humor in all of it too.

Oh I'm a major Trumpkin, have been since the fall of 2015.
All I'm saying is that for being as liberal as he is, he kept it together better than most. I'm sure SNL was pushing for way left of center and he stayed only moderately left of center. I didn't watch all the skits, it could have degenerated

Dave Chappell hated hillary and thought trump was treated unfairly. Dave is still my favorite comedian. He quit his job of over them wanting him to be more PC.

I think there was a lot of truth in the election night skit: the white guilt butthurt SJWs are way more upset about the election than the black community.
