Changes that should be made to America's fight against ISIS
Posted by GeneralLee on 11/10/16 at 9:00 am20
- Loosen up the rules of engagement: Right now it takes ~15 minutes for our aircraft to get authorization to bomb a target. The battlefield is too fluid for that. It's a misguided notion that we'll save a few civilians. The longer ISIS stays in power, the longer there are huge civilian casualties from their atrocities. In the long run, fewer civilians would die if we loosened up the ROE.
- Ditch Turkey and go all in with the Syrian Kurds. This will be the drive needed to kick ISIS out of Raqqa. Turkey should be kicked out of NATO for covertly supporting ISIS for years now. Erdogan is a dictator who needs to be shunned.

I think they should make a statement with ISIS.
"We decided to start an offensive against ISIS this morning around 3am. Russia came from the east; the US came from the west. Unfortunately, the soldiers of both sides were disappointed that they barely missed the 10:30 cutoff for an egg Mcmuffin. We are sorry that there were collateral losses. We assumed that the loud buzz of the drones was plenty notice to the citizens of the area."

Lulz no. You are wrong. Completely wrong. 2nd worst idea I've ever heard. Doc Fenton owns the worst.

Care to elaborate what you think we should do?
