The GOP will keep the Senate. The House may be another story however, even with all the Gerry mandered districts.

If they pass legislation, there is a 50% chance they'd get 60 senate seats in '18

Trump can't work well with Republicans, so the Democrats might as well ride it out and spend the big bucks in 2020.

House is perfectly safe. Republicans control districting in vast majority of states.

One thing to remember also is that having control of the WH, Senate, and House will depress voter turnout. Also the Dems are super pissed and will have a higher than normal turnout. Will be interesting to watch.

Redistricting doesn't happen until 2020. He's talking about 2018 midterms I assume.

GOP historically do well in the midterms, and the majority of the senate seats up for grabs are Dem.

Republican are closer to getting 60 senate seats than 49 in 18.

I meant midterms. The House is controlled by Republicans. Was mainly wondering about chances the Senate goes majority GOP.

The GOP pretty much has one tough hold...Nevada

The Dems have to hold...ND, MT, MO, IN, WI, WV, PA, OH and FL

Chances the Dems take the Senate are very low...GOP probably picks up several seats but 60 is pretty optimistic.
