Lol republicans are bad at legislating. Remember when millions of suckers fell for con man trumps pitch that he had a health care plan that would be better and cheaper than Obamacare?

The dear leader added a trillion a year to our national debt, with virtually nothing to show for it.

Y'all weren't saying that when they came out with Obamacare's numbers. I love the republican hypocrisy

Hey, dumbass, I've subscribed to the NYT for 35 years and been reading the WaPo for at least that long. Hell, I go back far enough to remember both paper's reporting on things like the Pentagon Papers and Watergate.

I'm here to tell you that although these two papers have always leaned left, they were still easily recognized as outlets of real journalism - paragons of news reporting.

But all that has finally changed - anyone who can't see that both of these once great papers have become prejudiced organs of a singular political viewpoint -especially the WaPo- is in denial or stupid.

You're probably both.

How accurate did CBO scoring on Obamacare prove to be?

It wasn't only Trump voters who voted against the guy who had a better and cheaper healthcare plan

the only candidate who had a better plan was Bernie

I disagree. I think CNN and other cable networks have left the reservation but WSJ, WP, NYT are still as legit as ever. They are basically reporting the words that come out of his mouth and twitter account. Trump supporters can post sarcastic Russian memes all day, but that is and has been a legit story.

Do you have specific stories in mind where they have changed or is it more general?

Lobbyists made this policy. Just like they made Obamacare. GOP members in charge have been bought by the insiders.

Yes, we were. Obamacare was purposely written so that the CBO could score it higher in deficit reduction and lower in spending because it contained 10 years of revenue vs 7 years of spending. There was a lot of complaining about the CBO during that time.

pine bluff's population peaked in 1970 at 57,400, today it's population stands at 49,000. virtually all but a handful of pine bluff residents are medicaid eligible. i'm assuming you're one. it's people like you that have made that town an absolute schthole. buildings downtown are literally collapsing from decay.

when obama took office arkansas had one republican in it's congressional delegation and every one of it's constitutional officers were democrats. today there's not a single elected democrat at either the federal or constitutional level.

that's charlie sheen kind of winning!
