Think his "manager/agent" is steering him toward lobbyist/consultant/speaker and away from public service.

Trump wants a 5 year ban on lobbying if you serve.

So if the agent sees his exposure and access to the administration as a cash cow think he is pulling him in a different direction.

I can't magine he would make over about 300,000 a year in the cabinet.

He needs to drop that Armstrong dude. He's always opening his mouth and getting Carson in trouble

Huh? They have set salaries. For example, it looks like the Secretary of State has a base salary of $186,600. LINK

Carson is already rich, and money is not what drives him. He is a results oriented man. He has several books already in print and can write many more from his experiences and vision. Definitely a person of great character.

Doesn't seem public service is driving him either.

Question is what drives people like his agent who apparently speaks for him and has his ear and would get a piece of the pie.
