Can we just go ahead and start that legit 3rd party now?

Why does the 3rd party always have to be the fringe folks?
I think the time to start that 3rd party (centrist) is now.
Think we could get Saban to be our first candidate out of the gate?

Because rational people understand that our political system is too heavily slanted towards a two-party system to support a third party. Such support is tantamount to a protest vote that no one cares about.

I think both parties are quickly fragmenting due to takeover by their fringe elements. Moderates have nowhere to go...that's why this is the perfect time.

Libertarians will be a real player within the next 2 or 3 elections.

Step one: No party affiliation on any ballot. Have to get this done in every state.

The current parties have it slanted so it's difficult to come in on a third party ballot. You have to come up with more signatures on a petition and you have to pay more to enter your name on a ballot. I don't recall what the figures are. There needs to be some reform in this dept, but the swamp doesn't want the competition.

Unless you have a support system of 3rd party people in the House & Senate it doesn't do much good. However, the Libertarians should have begged Rand to be their nominee and they could have had a legit shot. But nope they put that fool Johnson up there.
