Obama absolutely was born in Kenya. This is a fact, he used it to his advantage when applying for college, and his grandmother recounted being at his birth and Kenya. Not to mention the other myriad times they slipped up and admitted it.
Now, that isn't the same thing as saying Obama isn't a natural born US citizen, because of course he was, his mom was a US citizen thus so was he, but the "he was born in Hawaii" was a bunch of nonsense, overkill to make sure he seemed qualified.
