Get ready for bump stocks to be the headline across the news outlets. It will only take a day for Democrats to call for them to be outlawed.

He only had one rifle with a bump stock. The others had to have been modified in other ways.

Pretty clear that Democrats just want a trophy for whatever the topic is of the day. Doesn't matter if it would do any good. They just want to win the short term debate and then move on to the next knee-jerk reaction.

You don't even need the stock. You can put a fore grip on it and hold it a certain way to bump fire it from the hip

They should be outlawed. If Fully Auto weapons are illegal to be converted to, silly work around are also against the spirit of that law, and should follow the same course of action. Not exactly hard to figure out

Hopefully they are smart enough to go after the advanced rifles that make fast triggers and high volume shooting without overheating possible.
If you have a bump stock or slide trigger that burns out the gun after 20 rounds the add-ons aren't a big deal.

That doesn't happen. A standard mil spec $750 AR-15 can go like 500-600 rounds of back to back full auto without a stoppage.
You need some gun education. A rifle doesn't overheat with 20 rounds

Wait until the lawsuits are filed. The manufacturer of the bump stocks used ought to be in all night meetings with their new legal teams at this moment.
They are going to face a mountain of lawsuits and litigation. Going to be incredible. I suspect they will all be bankrupt in 180 days while bump stocks get outlawed due to public pressure.
