Yep, being elected to Congress several times PROVES he is unelectable.
As crazy as it sounds, it's not that difficult to be elected to congress as a representative. Most districts are locks for one party or the other, so you just need the blessing of the national party and enough money from the local power brokers. That's why the House is a collection of raging mediocrities. Seriously, most of them are nothing special.
To compare that to a national campaign for the presidency is a joke. Ron Paul hasn't won a single primary contest within his own party.
So you ignore data that doesn't fit your preconceived reality. There is a term for that.....
Most polls are meaningless at this point. But Paul's numbers are especially meaningless. His name recognition and favorables are decent enough (still lagging the president's) but few people outside of the intensely interested know much about him save the fact that he's "different from the others" and wears cheap suits.
