I'm curious, what about this pick leads you to the conclusion of corruption?

I imagine it won't be long into the first term before the sanctions on Russia are rolled back. The Exxon and Rosneft oil deal will be the first back on the table.

I'm a total tree hugger and I fail to see what's wrong with picking an energy executive as head diplomat.

And progressive heads explode once again.
It is a veritable cornucopia of exploding liberal heads.

I like it. Another mega successful CEO that knows a thing or two about how to negotiate a deal and win.

This particular exec has expressed support for carbon taxes in the past, and is on board with the man made climate change stuff. I'm hoping he has no hand in driving energy policies.

Liberals torpedoing this choice show their bias.

ETA: I'm just glad it isn't Romney.

Tillerson holds over $150 million in Exxon and as SOS could directly influence our diplomatic position on Russia. He stands to make a fortune if Russia is opened back up.

I don't see any chance for him to be confirmed. This is a step too far, even for the GOP.

He's certainly not who I want in the position, but I'll be damned if liberal tears aren't worth a lack of libertarian ideologues in office.

If he isn't confirmed, it will be due to his support of carbon taxes. You should read up on the guy before making yourself look even more like an idiot.

I'm hoping his support of this is because he's a smart sumbitch who knows that carbon taxes are just ways for high-level players to make more money, and not because he actually thinks they would do their state purpose.
