Fair enough. Obama's policies are a big contributor to Syria being a complete disaster now. We should try to set up safe zones.

What do they mean by "safe zone"?

A fortified part of the country where no bad guys will get in?

This is a win for everyone involved. These Syrians have no ability for self-determination even if they had all the right intentions being in an entirely foreign culture with no skills or abilities or manner of communication

Helping refugees should be done with the goal of helping them one day return home. Safe zones may help accomplish that.

Probably nothing at the moment. It will be years before this situation is fully resolved.

It evidently means things like the Saudis haven't been the main causative force in the radicalization of places like Malaysia over the past 20 years. They're the good guys.
