Why do people care if trump has business interests in Russia? We need to work together with Russia and if trump can make a few extra bucks off of that what is the big deal?

Are you really saying "what is the big deal" if a sitting President uses his position to increase the profits of his private business? Let's ignore that it Russia for the moment. It's still an extremely bad idea.

Rational people should be concerned about conflicts of interest. A sitting President that has financial ties and interests in a country we have economic sanctions against could certainly point to massive conflicts of interest, especially when that President has refused to fully divest himself from his companies.
It was a concern with Hillary and the Clinton Foundation, and it should be a concern now. It's appalling that has to be explained to people.
