I read 'One Second After'. It is not really about the EMP itself but about society after one of these events. It was a good read but not technical at all.
Which is the parts i actually like reading. Some authors are alot grimmer than others. Plus its kind of like a survivors guide to what you would need to survive if the power grid did go down. You would be surprised at some of the things you take for granted and smaller things you would forget to stock up on for major disasters like a hurricanes and power failures. Everyone expects the guvmint to come in and fix everything, but as those of us that live in hurricane areas already know, they aint in no hurry. Ok thanks for yalls responses, i just have alot of down time being offshore and was on a book reading spree and it just happened to be about EMP's or how people survived right after a catastrophe. Preferably fiction. Non-fiction is just way to depressing reading about lol
