Blissful ignorance

For the most of the last several months, I've been extremely busy, traveling, out-of-touch, with clients, with my kids, on the water, building a fence, doing some landscaping and volunteering at my church.

What I haven't been is on here all the time, watching the news all the time, on Twitter all the time, on Reddit all the time.

In general, I've missed out on much of the gnashing of teeth, angst, anger, frustration, exasperation that has been going on in the news and politics.

The whole tactic of the left to throw the country up into turmoil isn't bothering me much because I'm purposefully doing other things that raise my quality of life, make a better living for my family and spend more time working on my relationships with kids, friends and wife.

Honestly, I can't imagine spending so much time giving Dems and libs my energy right now. I'm much better and happier not worrying about it. I've enjoyed the PT for a long time, but the hugely negative atmosphere because of political hate and lies is not worth my time. It's a purposeful, fake lynch mob. Why give them my attention? Not sticking my head in the sand. Just saying, "frick it all" for a while.
