Republicans were acting almost the exact same was when Obama was elected. Maybe in some cases worse.

I consider myself a human loving person, but I remember talking tons of hate shite to all the people I knew about him before he even had a chance to serve.

We are all the same deep down!!!! Be cool and be safe, MAGA!! Though

There was rioting during inaugural events? I forgot those.

The death threats were because there are people who are ignorant and hateful. They fail at life and project their failures onto others.

There was not widespread and open opposition to the President Elect. We peacefully and respectfully transitioned power.

Yeah, I remember pulling people out of cars and beating the shite out of them for their obama bumper stickers. Good times indeed

There were none. Most of us had hope that Obama would succeed as the FIRST Black President.

quote:

In 2008, when Obama defeated John McCain, you didn’t see thousands of McCain supporters marching through streets and across college campuses refusing to accept the results. Actually, many people who voted against Obama at least hoped that it would usher in improved relations between the races.

Instead we got the opposite.

quote:

hen Obama was re-elected in 2012, there were no marches and protests. No motorists were dragged out of their cars and beaten as happened this week in Chicago.

To be honest, I'm not sure what the OP is even trying to say.

I am NOT ashamed to be PROUD of electing TRUMP.

The death threats were because there are people who are ignorant and hateful.

Always have a few idiots that need to caught. This is different. This is from the leadership DOWN. When I say leadership, I mean 100% this is on the leftist MEDIA and the DEMS who support this.

It's time they get voted out. Everybody longs for the days when the differences were basically taxes.

To an extent, yes...

Maybe in some cases worse.

If so, a very small minority

The vast amount of bitching, complaining, threatening from the left is second to none. Like I've said multiple times, they are making the Repubs in 08/12 look like saints.

Funny, I hate that motherfricker but I watched a peaceful inauguration just like the rest of the country did because it was history.

I hope dissenters get their skulls opened today.

Both sides have their morons. The D congressmen who boycott the inauguration are morons. The R's who took the the streets the day after Obama's election to "take our country back" were morons. Neither party has a monopoly on truth. Both have their black sheep.

It is worth pointing out, however that Obama had an 80% approval rating taking office. Trump's is 1/2 of that. Also, Trump denied Obamas legitimacy as president....so it shouldnt be a surprise that some Ds (even though it's still wrong) are returning the favor.

Also: Republicans who complain about the treatment of Trump by the left would be wise to review the daily outrage by the right over the last 8 years on things like tan suits, saluting with the wrong hand and other ridiculous complaints. They're coming to your town today. Everyday.

ETA

I might also add that Trump has not made any efforts to "heal the country" whereas every other president has used the transition to mend wounds. He taunted his "enemies" in his New Years tweet. He continues to call out people even in his own party. So....I'm not sure what you expect. Don't ask to be treated like every other president when you don't act like every other president. This is what you wanted.

Oh puhleez.... it's not even close.

The hysteria surrounding the Trump inauguration is literally f*cking INSANE.

There weren't any protests or near-rioting in D.C. in 2009 and 2013.

Republicans just left D.C. for the week and let the Dims have their parties celebrating the fact that they actually elected the most incompetent, inept, and unqualified complete f*cking MORON simply because he was half-black and they thought it would really piss off Republicans.
