I've heard several individuals proclaim he is going to help keep Mexicans from taking their jobs, yet these are college educated people. I've also heard Mexicans will be sent back and that is good because then Americans can get those well paying jobs....
I don't think they realize those from Mexico are taking the jobs they think they're too good for...

Sure. Low paying, manual labor type of jobs is what you would envision as being the majority of jobs for the illegals. Regardless, jobs available to the American people are jobs that could help a legal American family in need to stimulate the economy of our country instead of being sent back across the border and tripled in value to a Mexican family. Out of all the people that think they're too good for these jobs, someone in need would most likely take it.
Then the government care these people are offered is another story.

No they don't realize this even faced with evidence to contrary. They are angry or down in life and need a scapegoat to blame their problems on.
you need not look further than Alabama if you want to see some of the economic impacts of too harsh immigration laws.

I don't think you realize that ILLEGAL, LAW-BREAKING undocumented Mexican aliens are take the jobs that lead to those educated people subsidizing the idiots who are on the dole. In fact I know you don't. If you believe the bullshite about taking "jobs Americans won't do," you're an absolute imbecile not worthy of recognition for debate

No that's not what typically happens at all. It's rhetoric for someone's anti immigration agenda.

My dad has 2 masters degrees... is a general contractor... while a mexican may not directly steal his job, the guy paying them jack shite will get the project. Man with multiple degrees directly affected by them.

I know an article is going to be a good one when they refer to illegal aliens as "immigrants". Anything to set the narrative, I guess.
Your article is from 2012, so I decided to update it.
Alabama's economy has moved up 3 spots since the "chaos" mentioned in your article, surpassing Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas in the southeast. (Kentucky as well if you count them in the SE). While still shitty, which can be attributed to many things, it has improved.

Alabama ranked number 44 on the list. It was followed by states Alabama has become accustomed to keeping company with - Kentucky at 45, Louisiana at 46, New Mexico at 47, Maine at 48, Arkansas at 49 and last at 50 Mississippi.
Since cracking down on illegal immigration, Alabama's economy has surpassed 4 states in the SE, while they were previously ranked last in 2012.

I don't think many really thinks it's perfectly acceptable, but we should consider all options before deciding deportation is the best way to go about handling the issue.

Your link is broken.
Eta: got it working now.
By the way you do realize your link is proving my point right?
Once those laws never materialized those people moved back and took the vacated jobs.
Same type of situation in Arizona too. Do you think all of this is just made up?

Anti-illegal immigration. Call it what it is, please. I think Legal citizens of this country should get a chance first. My link is working on my computer, btw. You should check it out.

I updated my previous post. Again, those jobs weren't actually taken by many americans. They're not taking away Americans jobs because americans dont want to do those jobs. Harsh immigration laws tend to have very negative impacts on their economies.
