It'a a resolution, not a law.

quote:

The resolution is non binding, but does encourage the state to seek education, prevention, research and policy change to reverse problems associated with pornography.

You left off that part.

Get back to me when any of those things are outlawed in Arkansas. Until then, know your role and shut your mouth.

California passes law that makes it legal for minor girls and boys to work as prostitutes.

That is some great big government progressivism right there

That's a pathetically dishonest rendition of the law that was passed. It maintained extremely harsh penalties for those who 1. Employed underage prostitutes or 2. Hired/engaged in relations with underage prostitutes

BUT

decriminalized being an underage prostitute so those who engage in/are forced into underage prostitution can go to police for help without fear of reprisal from the state.

To pretend as though California "legalized child prostitution" requires either complete and utter ignorance or willful lying.

Congrats on following the progressive talking points.

By decriminalizing it for the minors it actually incentivizes child trafficking. The pimps have no risk in losing their meal tickets.
Their threats over their sex slaves remain, they still take their money and still put them back on the streets.

You are the one being dishonest if you think these minors will go to the police and turn in their pimps. If they did that under the old system they would have never been prosecuted anyway.
This is just more immoral liberals being what they are.

What on earth are you talking about? Do you honestly think child prostitutes are on a "catch and release" program, sent back to the people who were abusing them?

You're engaging in knee-jerk anti-left lunacy if you think this law was passed because liberals are in favor of child prostitution.

The California law simply de-criminalized the victim of sex trafficking.

you can argue the semantics, but it's trying to lower the age of consent and remove liability from underage people. i'm all about freedom for people to bang, but it's a bad law as it's presented from both sides.

i think the claims of "allowing child prostitution." is the same as "muslim ban." just using flame words.

A lot of young woman go into pornography in our world capitalist economy because they have no other employable skills that will get them as much money per hour or so.

If you can get $400 to $1200 per scene and it can takes a few hours to do a scene if you have a day where you do two scenes it makes for a long day but you can earn around $1000 a day if you are an in demand actress.

Else Jean is a top 20 actress and can make hundreds or thousands in a day and if you do a lot scenes in a year you can make six figures as a top 20 actress.

But very few actresses have careers that last decades and by the time you are washed up unless your like Julia Ann or Jenna Jameson you have no marketable skills, your youth and looks are gone or have changed and there is always another pretty young thing who is coming up. Most actresses end up doing low-pay jobs or married to some guy who doesn't mistreat them that much.

Plus there's the stigma of being an adult actress that limits their careers in the future. I have felt that the porn industry should provide royalties for actresses and benefits like SAG actors get but the industry is so so so sleazy poor Elsa Jean will end up with nothing in a few years. She has a kid and went into the industry to support her kid.
