Yes. You do realize there are millions of violent shitheads out on the streets, don't you? You do realize that people can have violent charges dropped in plea deals that result in a small fine, probation and no time in prison, correct? You do realize that even though those assholes never see their probation officer or fully pay their fine, when they finally show up in court again they still aren't imprisoned, don't you? I just sat in court the other day and watched a line of nine people with violent charges who did not fulfill their probation agreement over the last year get second chances on seven of the nine cases. Even when these frickheads are given an exceedingly light sentence they don't comply. Personally, people like that contribute only misery to society and should be executed.

Why don't we convert all the new mega-churches to prisons and let the "Christians" take care of the criminals? They have really nice large buildings that are empty most of the time anyway. And who is better to reform a bad guy than a good Christian? Of course, if a prisoner needs to be executed, we can always outsource to the Jews or Muslims.

It is about as un-American as it gets. And I say this regardless of whose in power. For all I know Clinton started it. It's terrible.

I think should privatize prison operations--maybe not the buildings. We need to be able to easily fire operators.

Remember that Sandy Springs Georgia has private police, private utilities, private court house operations and private fire protection.

It is a good idea. We wouldn't be in the fiscal shape we are in today if we have privately operated universities, privately operated schools and the like. Our retirement obligations are HUGE because of our ridiculously lucrative retirement plans and health insurance plans for state employees.

For being the first black president, he sure did a lot to imprison blacks.

You do realize that the threat of prison isn't really doing anything to deter crime, right? So we should keep throwing money at a solution that basically just exacerbates the problem?

Gotta love the left-leaners in this thread criticizing churches that are overrun by lawless illegals and doper Americans who are provided for by churches while they have sex and do drugs.

Also, someone saying prison doesn't deter someone has totally ignored liberal judges and bleeding-heart civil rights attorneys turning them loose.
