Yet they elect a foreign born actor like the terminator to be their governor? Arnold surely was fit to do that job with all his past experience right?

California is a shithole. I lived there for 5 months, haven't been back since. Worst state in the country. No idea why anyone would want to live in that dump.

I asked this question a while back. I stil don't understand how that happened. Arnold seems to be completely opposite of everything they stand for.
Admittedly, I don't know anything about his campaign. I just remember him riding around in a H1 Hummer. A fricking Hummer in Cali and they still voted for him!
Is this a sign of how far they've progressed since then or did something happen that I do t know about?

It was a recall election. Didn't we do a winner take all election with like 50 people on the ballot? Maybe that was why.
