Any truth that the Charlottesville driver was a far-lefter until just recently?

Seems to be some talk that he was and it was part of an infiltration of the far-right. Any confirmation?

Not according to those that knew him when he was younger.

Where?

He was known as the Nazi of his high school, so that would be a negative.

Isn't he like 20 yo? Seems like just a wayward loser looking to glum onto whatever he could stumble upon. I wouldn't guess he could articulate a single coherent thought about his current "philosophy" he espouses (whatever in the world that may possibly be) if he tried.
Of course, I guess that would also easily fit the profile for someone who could easily be swayed into being an opposition infiltration patsy.

His course seems similar to patterns of radicalization in the Islamic world.

Because that's how right-wing terror groups operate.

Once you go Third Reich, you'll never seem right.

The usual holes dug in around here. The mental gymnastics on this board are worthy of many gold medals.

Took this from around here:
quote:
Intersting that the guy who whipped up the "alt-right" march in VA was an Alt-left occupy Wall Street guy with ties to the Cominist Party. In three years, he moved for the far left to the far right... there was also an article about a guy who got fired from a pizza place in VT who was also far left until recently according to his teacher
quote:
Interesting either way... at worst, this would suggest that there was an organized attempt to infiltrate and even lead the alt right...or, at best, it shows that far right and far left are essentially the same personality/physcholigal issues....

Those are insane. The guy was literally his high school's Nazi.

Well he was a Bernie bro

He's 20. You mean maybe he was a far-letter in junior high?

This is exactly what both sides are. Outcasts looking for acceptance so they flock to fringe groups that will accept anyone willing to fight for their ridiculous and unjust cause like neo-Nazis and antifa
