I know he is saving money on fighter jets and air force one and this and that, but the spending on the security for him and his entire family as well as all of his vacations already have me quite concerned with the total for security costs by the end of his four or eight years. I feel hypocritical, as a conservative, by supporting him when he is spending money the way he is. I know Hillary would have been even worse in the total spending department, however, Trump still concerns me in this regard.

why would anyone be concerned, the stats about how much his initiatives would add to the deficit and debt were well known before the election...

CBS morning news just said Trump could spend as much on vacations this year as obama did in 8.

Obviously this is CBS so take it with salt. Little unsettling though

Well, maybe if people didn't act like such assholes there wouldn't be a need to protect his entire family.

You calling a three day weekend where he actually does some "presidenting" a vacation doesn't help support your argument. Concerning SS for his children, sounds as if you're promoting a candidate with no grown children as a requirement for our next president. Sad.

Conservatives are concerned about spending, specifically federal government spending.

However wait for Trump's budget to come out at the end of March. You want to smoke out the fiscal liberals that hide out as conservatives within the GOPe camp, just propose Trump fiscal budget. You are going to see Republicans join Democrats in congress going apoplectic that Trump's budget does not spend enough.

If you are conservative it must have been by accident since you obviously didn't think your way there! Since you start out retarded in your thinking, I recommend that you declare yourself a libtard. No hypocrisy there for you.

Well it seems fiscally conservative to use somebody else's water and toilet paper.

In other words, OP's name checks out.

Right.. You should be. The OP is talking about peanuts.

The OP is talking in terms of millions.

Trump's budget at the end of March will be presented to congress in terms of trillions.

Most conservatives don't care about spending as long as it is stuff they want, just like liberals.

No one should bitch about the cost of protecting Presidents, their families, or playing golf, or vacations. Regardless of which party they belong to. Woodrow Wilson played 1200 rounds of golf. Eisenhower played 800. For fricks sake, it's the hardest job in the world. If they can't take a few hours/wk to decompress and gets soem excercise... well, frick off... you're a douche bag.

Let's say Trump is really extreme and it costs a Billion dollars for his travel and protection over his term... Congress spends a billion dollars every 4 hours. That figure would represent 1/100 of 1% of the federal budget over that time.

Protection for the President and his family, along with vacations and travel, just go along with the territory. It's literally the least significant thing you should ever talk about.

I fully realize the hypocrisy cause Trump did a lot of bitching about Obama before he got elected.

Point is... nobody should bitch about this.

While everything you said is true, Trump and his supporters got themselves into this discussion. Trump's tweets about Obama playing golf when he should be working are well documented.

In fact, the White House is trying to cover up the amount of golf that Trump is playing for this reason. They released a statement this past weekend saying that Trump only played a few holes. Then Rory let the cat out of the bag that he had just finished 18 holes with Trump. The White House then changed their story

This is just another example proving that Trump supporters don't want smaller government or less spending. They just want to control the government and the spending.

I don't know, but I can guarantee you'll hear a lot less about the evils of Keynes from the likes of Hannity, and people on this board. Conversely, there will suddenly be lots of miserly liberals bitching about "shovel ready" jobs.
