Another Day Another CNN Lie

So I turn it on CNN for 10 minutes while eating breakfast, and this is what I see:

If you look at the details, it was conducted by a company called Morning Consult. If you go further into the details, they link a PDF showing their methodology. Here is what it says:

The interviews were conducted online and the data were weighted to approximate a target sample of registered voters based on age, race/ethnicity, gender, educational attainment, and region. The CNN's host said that online polls aren't scientific and that everyone should just ignore this poll. However, this isn't just an "online" poll like one might find here at TD asking who the hottest porn star is or a poll on Fox News's website or CNN's website asking whether we support Hillary or Trump. Everyone knows those polls aren't scientific because the samples are not representative of the population as a whole (they are heavily self-selected).

However, this poll appears legit. They carefully selected their sample of 1991 people and provided lots of lead-in questions about voting history, party affiliation, etc. The only difference is this was conducted online and not on the phone. The poll is legit. CNN is just mad.

Every time I turn it on CNN for a few minutes I can find them telling lies. And they wonder why no one trusts them.
