So a few weeks ago I attended a class where the instructor taught about 20 students. Part of the class was dealing in constitutional law, state and local laws, and political discourse.
The class was as diverse as I have ever seen. There was a young black man, probably in his 20's, and his grandfather. A 30-40's something Hispanic woman from Columbia, still with a heavy immigrants accent. Several young, 20-something women. A couple of middle age-white guys. Another black woman. A young Pastor and his wife just starting a church on the southshore.
The students were engaged, asking questions, interacting with each other. During breaks we all talked extensively about family and life experiences living in our Great country.
There was never a more representative group for what America SHOULD be
that I have seen in awhile (other than my own close group of friends/acquaintances).
Our concealed permits should arrive in about 180 days.
