U.S. coal exports have surged since President Donald Trump took office, according to a Tuesday report from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).

U.S. coal exports to other countries for the first quarter of 2017 were 58 percent higher than in the same quarter of 2016, according to the EIA report. Most of the coal is sold to European or Asian markets, where demand is rapidly rising.
Winning bigly!

We love selling our dirty coal to the hypocritical euros, don't we folks!?!

Funny how cheapness and efficiency always wins.

And this is where libs get mad that a sector of the American economy is surging.

It's going to be harder for them to control the population after Trump puts an end to their crippling regulations they put on to try to force universal income.

Admittedly I have not clicked the link, but is there a stated reason why coal rose until 2012, 4 years after Obama took office?
Climate accord?
Trade agreements?
Fracking and natural gas?

Gas prices maybe? It peaked in 2012, but since the coal chart doesn't go far enough back, it's hard to tell if that's a consistent trend.

There was a combo of factors involved but one of the biggest was Japan being forced to use coal to make up for the electricity lost after the Fukushima meltdown. That is one of the reasons why US coal exports to Japan jumped bigly after the Fukushima meltdown.

You can go on the EIA's coal page and find links to pretty much any graph that you want.

Wonderful, we can make a fortune selling AM radios to the idiot Europeans. They are stupid enough to go full retard with renewable energy and migrant shite, they are probably stupid enough to buy a shite load of AM radios.

Looks like he is still way behind the exports totals in most of the Obama years. Sad.

There are 32 Obama quarters on the graph and only one Trump quarter on the graph. The trend has reversed from being on #thedecline to being on #theincline.

Does anybody else want to laugh at the hypocrites in Europe that are addicted to US coal?

TOO MUCH WINNING!

China keeps cranking out coal plants too. It is easy money to use coal to make countries great.
