AHCA Biggest CF I have seen in the legislative process for 20+ years

Boy did Ryan, trump, mcconell, mulvaney and price whiff on this one.
It was a shitshow from day one, and never really exited shitshow mode. They never had the votes. It was a shitty bill, and everyone knew it. Instead of dropping it, Ryan, Trump, price and mulvaney doubled down on this.
If you can't get the votes on your first legislative agenda, where does that leave you on the rest? Tax reform will be just as hard, if not harder than this. And an infrastructure bill? good luck on that.
The only thing close to this fail in recent memory is obama's attempt at gun control. You have to go back to Hillary's initial fail in the early 90s on healthcare to find something comparable in my opinion.

Typical republican bullshite. Bitch moan and complain about healthcare and proclaim Obamacare as end times then get control of everything and dont have a plan.
For democrats this is why its not a bad thing to let republicans run with the ball from time to time to expose them as not only the party of no ideas but also no fricking idea how to get things done.

While I'll agree it was a sign of poor leadership, it's not as bad as the ACA. Might want to look into how it got passed, and the promises it made, and the unconditional mandate that forced people to buy something they didn't wants; it's just not that bad.

I am not a fan of obamacare, but they got it through. This didn't pass, and they spent a lot of energy on it.

It is a terrible bill trying to replace an even worse law. Nobody should be proud on either side in this mess.

I definitely have a few areas where I tend to lean left. I would never deny that. With that said, I woudl be fine repealing obamacare but this bill is an abortion.

what made obamacare so bad was that it was a compromise on a compromise. And it didn't have a center.
This is a compromise on a compromise on obamacare. Its lost all shape and appeals to no one.
