At 6’ tall you’re already 20% of the way there. If the climb rope is too heavy start with a lighter leader/guide rope and use it to pull the climbing rope over.

And we’re not uncle rico’ing this thing straight over. With enough centripetal force from swinging it around your head I don’t think it’s as hard to get up and over as you think

I think we should let them leave since that’s what they want.

Having just done it and having just experienced gravity...

It's a sumbitch.

I am curious though.

Once I launch 60 feet of rope (that's a large mass) up and over the wall, what do I attach it to now tie a stronger rope so that I can pull it over. Is there someone on the other side to facilitate all of that.

ETA: Wait, I see what you are doing with the slatted wall. Yes, if I could launch 60 feet of rope that far I can see a way to move another heavier across. Only applies to the slatted wall though.

We'll have to scrap that one in case a super hero Mexican can launch rope that far up.

Try this at home by the way. It's far more difficult than you think. Gravity wins.

Again I’m not saying it’s a cake walk, just that it’s not impossible to do with relatively common gear. When you’re trying to get up and over a wall you don’t have to be as accurate with your throw.

The wall with the gaps at the bottom is the one I’m talking about. It doesn’t have to be the other side when you can anchor it from the Mexico side. If there’s a solid base, this method is worthless. Being able to anchor your rope after getting it over the wall is what makes this design weak

It's only money we can just borrow some more if we need too , right Democrats? Oh I forgot this is not an entitlement so it's bad to spend money on it .

Why can’t we just make the whole border a gladiator arena? Have it manned by white supremacists on work release from prison? If a brown person makes it through the gauntlet they get to stay.

Not so fast, Grasshopper!

Don't know your definition of Deep South so let's look at Gulf South less Texas.
FL 29
AL 9
MS 6
LA 8. TOTAL 52 and Cali 55. Close but edge to Cali

Add in other reasonable Deep South states.
GA 16
SC 9. TOTAL Deep South 77 v 55

Add other boarder line Deep South states.
NC 15
TN 11
AR 6 TOTAL 109 v 55. Deep South now has 2x Cali Electoral College votes

Now ignoring the northern Southern States: OK, MO, KY, WV, and VA since they can't be Deep South, I still have to come back to Texas. Texans consider themselves both Western and Southern, but they would not be happy being left out of Deep South!
TX 38. Total now Deep South 147 and Cali 55. Almost 3-1.

But wait!
You said:

Those Southern voters put Trump in charge of US economy! Compare Trump v Hillary in Trans Pacific trade, NAFTA, and the Paris Confrence.

Well shucks! Us ignorant Southern hicks sure had a heap of influence on the world economy!

Cali can suck it!

Why not a couple 10 ft. fences 40 yards apart with the middle 20 yards filled with land mines? Cheaper and very effective.

Dunno. Could possibly be to allow animals to continue any possible land migrations/hunting. Just an idea.

CBP wanted it open so they could see through it. To see if someone was on the other side.

Strategically, the third wall is best. We have to be able to see through so potential crossers can't hide. The solid top prevents climbing.

The wildlife should be allowed to pass freely too.

Smoke screen for tax payers eat it.

Getting them to pay for it is pretty easy. Just attach a 3% fee on all money transferred south of the boarder. Not a lot of money but enough that it will get it paid for.

I dont really care who pays for it. That is not important to me. I just want it built.

I also think they should add a few 500KV lines on top of it. That will discourage climbers. It would be funny to see some dumbass lean an aluminum ladder up on it tho. Need some cameras on it to capture it.

It also would make liberals like it more if we stuck some solar panels on it.
