How many rounds do you need? Every time there is an issue about the 2nd, ammo costs go out the roof. Everybody starts trying to buy 1,000 rounds and supply cannot meet the demand. I'm not saying limit the amount of ammo someone can buy, but why do you need 10,000 rounds of ammo?

If the shite hits the fan one of two things are going to happen. IMHO. One, you are going to die well before you can fire off 1,000 or 10,000 rounds. Two, if you are still alive after that many rounds you've killed enough people to scrounge their rounds and guns that you have ample ammo and weapons to fight off the next wave.

I've only got a box of long riffle ammo and a few boxes of shotgun ammo but if I need more than that im probably already dead.

What does 10,000 rounds buy you when you've either killed enough to replenish you stash or you're a crap shot and you're dead?

Ammo doesn't ruin.

Well, if you are alive, ammo would make for an amazing commodity to trade. Probably could buy pretty much anything with ammunition.

You need to discuss this with your local unorganized militia.

No it doesn't but if your dead what good does it do you. Like I said if you fire off that many rounds you should have enough from the dead people to replenish your stash of ammo. If their ammo doesn't fit your weapon you have theirs to use. So why do you need 10,000 rounds of ammo.

If your still alive the ammo would be a great commodity, but if we are in that situation the end of the barrel that the ammo comes out of would be an even butter commodity.

Do you only have bolt-action rifles and hunting shotguns? shite, my brothers and I go through at least 600 rounds of .22lr, .223 and assorted pistol ammo every time we go shooting. Really, it's probably closer to a thousand assorted rounds.

I love laughing at the people that feel the need to have 1 bazzilion rounds of ammo. They are the same ones that talk about the "us vs them" when "shite hits the fan"

More power to them to buy as much as they want imho. Go ahead and stimulate the economy mr bad arse

You've definitely thought about this subject a lot, huh.

I'm more afraid of you than any "black" I've ever met. I think you would/will cause many times more damage that any "black". Still doesn't explain the need for thousands of rounds.

lol cute another quasi speculative half assed 2A thread on the poli board, good thing its late because tomorrow this thread is roasted.
*here is a question, because I can tell you thought this all out, why do you assume there will be some mass conflict that we will all go stand in the street and fire off rounds to no end, did it ever occur to you that some of us are not that ignorant. Did it ever occur to you that you may need a lifetime of ammo, and how many mouths do you feed, how many rounds will you use to hunt or for protection? for a year? 10 years? lifetime?
**also if you do not want to pose limits on ammo, why did you mention that at all? ammo supply, hoarding and round count mean zero if you do not want to impose a restriction

if you ask me why I need it then I will ask why you want to know?

There are legit reasons for buying ungodly amounts of ammo and i'm all for it. Some people have hobbies that call for large quantities of ammo. I clicked on this thread because I get a good chuckle hearing people talk about the loads of ammo they need to bury because they have mouths to feed when "shite hits the fan"

I am not that active in shooting, but probably go through 2000 rounds of handgun ammo every year. Since I know I will eventually need use it, it makes sense to buy ammo in bulk when available at a good price, or if you think the price will be higher in the future.

Not sure who you are replying to, but did you think it out? In line with how many mouths do you feed; assuming you are a good shot it should only take one round to take down a deer goat cow or other mammal. This should provide ample food for a family for at least a week. With this assumption 10,000 rounds feeds my family for over 190 years. I won't be alive that long and really DGAF. If extra rounds are needed for protection either I'm dead because I can't protect or I'm alive and I now have their weapons and ammo which increases my original amount. Going back to the question of why did I need 10,000 rounds to begin with. I never said you nor anyone else should not be allowed to purchase that many, my questions was why do you need that many.

If you do any training, or if you just shoot regularly, you would be foolish to not buy by the case. Apparently, everyone in this boat is a total loon... Or hates black people apparently.
