lol, uhhh... it was a lot more than that. That was just from that round. There were others. The chinese were hacking CIA funded charities that were sending in money to support dissidents. Once they got the lists of who got disbursements, they disappeared. A LOT of them. Way more than 12.

The title of the OP says they were CIA agents. Yet the article says they were simply local informants helping the CIA.

You mean they were tampering with how an official government was being run? Like, meddling and even colluding against a recognized foreign government?
Shocked! Shocked I say, dear boy. How could this have happened?
We must act to investigate this tampering in a duly recognized and established government. Who's up for a Special Counsel to look into this?

CIA can be blamed for that because they were funneling funds through these places without so much as a warning that they were going to be targets of the PLN hackers so they didn't even have much in the way of cyber security in place. By the time they realized they'd been breached, and discovered what files had been taken, they already knew they'd lost contact with those people. Now they knew why. Pretty bone chilling moment for people who thought they were doing good promoting democracy.

They rolled up entire networks. 12 is just scratching the surface. This is a major foreign intelligence embarrassment. Thanks Hillary! Thanks John! Thanks Obama!
