Excellent point.
Look at ALL the movies made about the HUAC in the 50s. While McCarthy's methods were questionable, he was right on when it came to the subversive communist in Hollywood.
So, Hollywood has made what seems like hundred of movies villifying McCarthy while simultaneously trying to make these Hollywood traitors look like heroes.
