...I watched in utter disbelief as we laid an egg in overtime at home, at night no less, albeit Monday night, against Tennessee, 30-27. I never thought I would see us blow a 21 point halftime lead, as well as a 17 point fourth quarter lead, at HOME, especially coming just two years removed from a co-national championship!! And to allow a former Tiger quarterback, Rick Clausen, to engineer the whole thing is even more embarrassing!

Well, the egg was laid less so in overtime as in our first posession in the third quarter when jimbo started the succession og conservative 3 and outs.

The good news is that since that Tennesee game, things have gone upward and haven't come down yet

My first game in TS. Although something good came out of it. Mile's balls decended that night.

Yeah well, since then we have gone on to establish ourselves as the top program in college football. But you want to go and bring up a game that we lost because there was ZERO gas left in the tank after halftime and post-Katrina lack of conditioning really took its toll (most cramping I've ever seen by an LSU team in a game, period).

YOU ARE A frickING DIPSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LSU is the top football program in the nation so please just shut the frick up.

none of what you mentioned is anywhere near as embarrassing as your reasons for posting here.

I hate it when our fans use excuses to justify how we could blow a 21 point lead in the third quarter. And if you're gonna put up photographs of dead guitarists, at least choose someone who had TALENT, like Frank Zappa, Toy Caldwell or Robbin Crosby.

Whether you buy the reasons or not, the real point here is that we are currently the TOP program in the nation. But instead of being happy about that, you choose to refer to a game from THREE frickING YEARS AGO!!!!!! A game that has absolutely NO relevance today. NONE!!!! What the frick was your point? This is the Golden Age of LSU football, but here you are just trying to stir the pot with a stupid-arse post.

How about Elliot Easton or Neil Young or Neil Schon?
This makes for a better discussion than the original theme of this stupid thread!
