...find it interesting that of the 3 LSU football coaches to win national championships, none have ever led us to a victory in Auburn, Alabama?

3 isn't exactly what I'd call a streak.

To be fair, Deitzel never even played Auburn while at LSU.

That's only a total of 4 games ... none for Dietzel, 3 for Saban and 1 for Miles. Everybody already knows the home team has won for the last 8 years so your "interesting" statistic ... isn't very interesting.

The fact that LSU has won the national championship twice in the last 5 years, is not only interesting ... it's fascinating.

ETA: other LSU HCs won 5 in Auburn & 4 more in Birmingham & Montgomery. LSU has won 13 and tied once vs Auburn in Baton Rouge. The overall series record is 22-19-1 in favor of LSU. Back in the olden days when everything was in black & white and giants roamed the earth, LSU & Auburn didn't even play each other very often (Dietzel never did in 9 seasons as HC & that was in the middle of an unreal 26-year stretch where we never played Auburn once). Hard to believe now, but true.
