How would you space out the carries if you had 40 carries a game.
Scott 15 Beast
Williams 13 Could take starting job week 1 ran soft
Murphy 7 will make make a case for more
Holliday 5 "3 out of the I formation" not just sweeps
Ridley blowout mop up duty

Charles Scott 15 carries
Richard Murphy 10-12 carries
Trindon about 6-9 total touches on swings and runs
Keiland.....maybe 1
I was a HUGE Keiland fan last year and coming into this year. I heard that he ran soft in practice and didn't hit or see the hole blah blah blah...but I never believed. After watching that game against App St I really lost my lovefest with him. Unless he turns something around and can do more than just run around the edge then I'll get back on the bandwagon.

Big Herm would do to the entire NT defense like Jacobs did to LaRon Landry the other night

I'm thinking that Trindon needs about 10 touches a game. I think the kid's a playa...

I was looking for KW to explode this year with the other backs still getting enough carries to stay productive, but I have to say Scott looks like he could be the back everyone wishes Alley Broussard would have been. I know it was one game vs. App St., but he ran through, around, and away from people in that game.

yeah scott looked good and i would like to see holliday get more touches

Dude you cannot judge keiland after one game. He didn't even look that bad. He also didn't have very good blocking. Scott had way better blocking than keiland and murphy.

I'd like to see that also, but Crowton needs to find different ways to get him the ball. Everytime he's on the field, everyone knows some kind of end-around or a sweep is coming, I wouldn't mind seeing a deep pass to him just once, as I'm sure he could get behind the defense

I didn't mean to come off as judging him or giving up on him, I still think he is LSU's most explosive back and can cause alot of problems for a defense, I was just really impressed with Scott, like I said I know who it was against, but we'll see

Haven't you noticed that good backs seem to get better blocking than average backs? It probably means the good back reads the blocks better and has better timing in hitting the hole.
The same line that blocked for Scott was blocking for KW and RM.
