Heard a lot about him leading up to the game, was it all hype or did the LSU D just shut him down?
He needs to get a new chin strap!

He didn't have anything to work with. His receivers got scared of the hits they were taking IMO and the O line was helpless.

Armanti would be a nightmare if he were wearing Purple and Gold with the talent we would have around him.

Yes, the D played great. But it was a freaking DII school dude. It won't help us one bit if we do make a run and it comes down to strength of schedule. I'd rather play a big boy team and lose than white wash these kiddie programs.

And don't give me that negatigers crap. I LOVE LSU!!!!

Armanti Edwards is a talented QB, and IMHO he could've played D1 ball. Unfortunately, he met the best defense in CFB, and it was too much for him and the rest of the offense.

Also, I read where the chin strap wasn't the total problem. It's the stocking cap players where over their hair. It's slippery and is a hazard and serious safety concerns.

Seemed like a gamer to me and I didn't see him avoiding any contact. I salute his effort.

Didn't question his effort, but results are how everyone is measured..does look like a good player

THey could have had Peyton manning and it wouldn't have made much difference. THe line and WRs were that terrible. Hell, Peyton probably would have been sacked a bunch of times.

So, I think his Heismen run is over. Announcers kept saying he had a shot. Granted we are a harded team to play than most, but they don't play many Div 1A teams so they will point back to this game for the rest of the season and say, "he did not do well against a Div 1A team."

armanti's receivers played like absolute shite. they dropped atleast 7 passes.. and his line was gettin man handled. i really respect armanti after that game.. not once did he ever lose composure. he doesn't get frustrated or blame his teammates... mad props to him.

I think it goes even deeper than that, and is just his hair style. When your hair is bigger than your head, you need a haircut.

You never see a player with a normal haircut lose their helmet, unless it is just a fantastic hit. The players with long dreads are constantly losing their helmet.

As a separate component yes. But it gets factored into some computer rankings and of course it will cause a bias with humans.
