I am still driving down for the game. We are leaving Brandon at 5 am. Gonna make for a long day. I am taking my head cook and it is his first college football game so we are gonna bite the bullet and do it. Any game in TS is better than anything else he will experience.

I just added ESPN classic to my cable package and have a modest 46" LCD for whoever wants to join.

if you have to come back and the traffic is heavy on 55, take 61 up to Vburg. I did it for Katrina and flew.

I called the Alumni House about opening early (10 instead of 11). The guy I talked said he thought they might with LSU playing earlier. He was going to run it by the managers and told me to call back this evening to see if he was able to talk them into opening early. I will post an update when I find out.

(I don't have ESPN Classic)

Sounds good, I'll commit LSU fans to buying at least 5 goalposts in that extra hour of operation.

AH is on my shite list right now. We had about 10-12 lsu fans in the recliners for one of the baseball games and they refused to change the channel because some old man had gotten there earlier and was watching the pga. The waitress said he ordered an apetizer and an iced tea and sat there for 3 hours.

it's a good place & has more potential. buf wild wings is killing them. too many kids & shite in alumni. it just doesn't feel like a true sports bar. I'm gonna watch the game @ my crib then venture off to a friends house to watch the other games.

I had bad service there recently as well, but if they are willing to open at 10 it will help them get out of my doghouse. I would much rather go there than Buffalo Wild Wings.

I agree. If I don't have Classic then I will have to go to AH (if they open at 10am).

Annie D's A Family Grill in Brandon is my restaurant and you can check out the menu at annieds.com Obviously, I will not be there but we will be open. And thanks for the heads up on 61. My grandmother, Annie D lived in Jackson LA just south of St. Francisville, so very familiar with that.

I live in Belhaven. Am not going now. Thinking of just watching game at house tomorrow, firing up the weber grill, and having a couple of friends over. Shoot me an email if interested in coming by. Yes, that even includes Beauregard.
