It had to be moved. If shite turns bad and the game wasn't moved people would find a way to blame the game for problems. This was a must. A stupid irrational must, but a must none the less.

Chad, why dont we cancel the game, start preparing today at 4 pm, and save a full 24 hrs, instead of a mere 6. If they were that concerned about it.

right on. as i said in another thread, it's easy for us to sit here and bitch...but we don't have to deal with the consequences of putting a lot of people possibly in danger. after katrina louisiana cannot afford another frick up from the state leadership.

I think they simply changed the game to 10:00 am to discourage 120,000 people showing up on campus tommorrow. They just cut the number of people on campus in half.

he did just frick up. its not nearly as bad as blancho but his over reaction causing panic and wanting to evac for a storm that is not in the gulf and is still a tropical storm is over reacting. safety is one thing but at least wait till you have a better idea of where this bitch will make land fall. contraflow wont do a damn bit of good if new orleans moves to lc and it hits the lc.
also say we go in this early panic and it either is a tropical storm or goes way west into texas. what happens next time?

Why are you people still so ignorant about this issue????? It is a logistical evacuation issue. HAS NOTHING TO DO ABOUT THE STORM MAKING LANDFALL IN BATON ROUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quit posting and bitching. And like that guy said, head to Grand Isle in a few days, PLEASE.
