"I think they are probably going to offer me," Sentimore responded. "If they do, then I'm going to accept it. I'm going to take that sucker right then and there and commit!"

I really hope he does get his offer. The guy has just sick talent. Someone with his size and strength coming off the edge at 4.82 is just plan scary.

Is he a greyshirt candidate?

ETA: If his grades are not in order?

It's not worrying, just a relevant question about a kid who I really want to see in P&G

Do people not understand how a greyshirt works?

If his grades aren't in order he definitely can't greyshirt.

Wow, how is that possible at 266 lbs? He should be a DE in college, not DT with that sick combination of size and speed.

I think most people...........including Chris Davenport talking about the coaches mentioning DS at DE are planning on him playing DE

The 4.82 is really the only one that was a legitimate time at a camp... but if I remember correctly, this was the same camp where Ford ran something like a 4.68. It was a really slow track.

ETA: So I wouldn't really be surprised if a more accurate time for Sentimore was in the 4.7s.

I think that was the Scout camp here in Mobile. Sentimore was a star at that camp, but the weather was cold and horrible. He may even be a sub 4.7 guy. Either way, he has got great speed for a guy with his size.

I'm almost positive the whole reason JV greyshirted was b/c his grades weren't in order. And academics are often the reason kids greyshirt.

I'm pretty sure you have to be academically qualified to "greyshirt." That means you enroll in school, you just aren't a scholarship player.

Guys often sit out (ala Benton), but that's different of course.

JV had a bad Sr year, used his greyshirt to get on track while enrolled at LSU part time.
