What are LSU''s official colors

i am painting my son's room in a few weeks and would like to know exactly what purple and what gold to use? Thanks in advance for the help

I believe Home Depot carries the official college colors for LSU and most other schools.

It depends. The official LSU football colors are Old Gold and Royal(?) Purple.
The colors actually used are Canary Yellow and some shade of blue that I can't think of right now.
However, you can find the LSU color palatte here.

purple and gold. They also use quite a bit of white
