I think the difference in Kirston's situation and Ben Mauk's situation is that one of Mauk's years was lost due to the mandatory sit out year when he transferred to Cincy. Had he stayed at WF, he would have already got to play his 4 full years even after redshirting. I may be wrong, but I think that has something to do with it.

ELWAY CROSS does not usually appear on a receiver's palms...unless they are horrible receivers! It normally appears of a chest when a receiver is without pads.
