I cant even finish one game without the game freezing up and then seeing disk unreadable. Is this the game or the system causing this issue.

thanks

From my experience, the system is about to RROD. The game, as long as not scratched, is not the source.

I've just started getting this with NCAA 09 as well. Is there a way to look up your serial number and see if it still has the 3 yr. warranty?

Just call 1-800-4my-Xbox and they will tell you.

But just FYI, the 3 year warranty only covers the RROD.

can you send your system to get fixed if it gets the RROD?

Yeah, if it is within 3 years of the manufacture date they will do it for free (I think). For all other problems they will fix if for free within 1 year of the MD. If you are outside of your time-windows you can still send it in (I just did) but it will cost you $99.

Assuming you never opened it up, that is. If you opened it I don't think they will help you.
