Why do you guys not think Vick has one of the strongest? He flicks his wrist and it rifles out of there.

I always thought Jamarcus threw the ball hard with the least effort I've ever seen. You never saw him trying to muscle it like Elway or Favre.

Jim Harbaugh had a cannon and nearly took the Colts to the SB.

Dan Marino was really the best at threading the needle and throwing 30 yards on a rope, but he lacked a bit of snap that Elway and Favre had.

My Grandfather said Bert Jones wowed the crowd a couple of times trying to stretch the plays. He said he could sling it 80 yards on a three step drop.

Jamarcus is one of the better ones I've seen.

Don't know if they still have the qb competition that used to come on TV in the 80's and 90's, but I remember Randall Cunningham winning the distance contest with a throw of 74 yards one year. I don't remember all of the participants, but I do know Marino and Warren Moon were in the competition. If I recall correctly Marino threw about 65 yards. Elway played back then, but I'm not sure he was in the competition.

Jerry Glanville said that Jeff George had a billion dollar arm and a 10 cent head.

Big arm qb's are usually this way in the majority of cases. They over rely on their arm and speedy receivers in HS, which prevents them from developing the total skillset and abilities needed to get it done at the SEC championship level.

Little early to be throwing JaMarcus's name in there. He's only played against college boys.
You are dumb.

He broke bradshaws javlin record and I know he held national record for awhile.

I'm pretty sure he didn't. Bradshaw threw it 245 and it was weighted differently, so you can't compare the two. But yeah, he had a heck of an arm.

John Elway could through bullets that very few could catch within 20 yards.
Jarmarcus Russell, I believe, can throw downfield with more ease than anyone before.
For downfield accuracy, its Dan Marino, hands down. It was always on the money at 30 yards or 60 yards.

Rumor was that J. Booty tossed it out of the stadium on the South Endzone side from the 20.

rumor has it that Booty tried to take it in himself against bama and got stuffed at the one yard line as time expired when we had like 2 guys wide open in the end zone.
