One of my coworkers refuses to drink bud light now and that's the only thing he drank before.

I don't know why you would drink that crap anyway. Abita is far superior and it is a local beer.

I thought Bud/Bud Light sucked before they got bought and nothing has changed IMO.

I drink what I am in the mood for at the time, sometimes is Bud, sometimes Bud Light, sometimes Abita, sometimes Dox Equis, sometimes its the Highlife (cause I'm broke)...I really don't care where its made

You mean it actually took you realizing that it got bought out by a foreign company instead of the fact that its a crappy tasting beer?

I stopped drinking Bud Light years ago (as my 'go to beer') when I grew up and realized its the Wal-Mart of beer (lowest common denominator).

I might actually start drinking Bud Light again, though, because it got bought by the same company that makes Becks...maybe now Bud Light will get a taste improvement from horse piss to at least drinkable.

Apply this silly 'Buy American' concept to everything you consume, and quickly you'll find that you won't be able to consume anything.

Don't count on it.

But maybe with Becks having access to Anheuser Busch's distribution networks it will be more accessible?

they are all foreign now:

Bud= Belgium
Miller= south africa
Coors= Canada

I refuse to become a fig Boston Yankee (if those 2 words can be used in the same sentence) and drink Sam adams so I guess Ill stick to Abita and Shiner.
