With all the press about Devery's lack of receiving skills and dropped passes, doesn't that make his catch even more spectacular? Just trying to get through the offseason.

Devery just can't catch the ball that hits him right in the hands. He seems to always come up with the tough catch though.

I'm not trying to bash him and I totally don't remember that many drops when he was at LSU.

As I recall, he bobbled that catch a couple times too before securing it. Still amazing though.

He actually bobbled that ball a couple of times to if I remember correctly. He bobbled the ball alot at LSU as well. D-Backs just arent as good. He was, and still is very dangerous when he finally catches the ball.

It's amazing that everyone up here in KY loves to talk about that play.

Also, I went by the Nissan dealer in Lexington about 2 years ago and one of the salesmen saw the LSU sticker on my car and started talking about LSU being the "bane of my existence." WE talked a little about the game and then he told me that he was the last guy to touch the ball before Henderson caught it. He was so small I didn't expect him to be a football player (like 5'9" maybe 160). I later bought an infiniti next door and asked him if he wanted my LSU sticker and I think he started to get mad. I never got his name but it wouldn't be hard to find.

Devery is catching everything in practice according to reports. The talk of his demise is premature.

Except that 50 yard pass in practice yesterday, in which he turned around a pulled his hammey.

Truthfully, I hope he can turn it around. I like him as a player.
