TOP COLLEGE FIGHT SONGS

Good article, but how can you be an LSU grad and not put LSU at the top of the list.

This guy said UCLA's fight song is "unique" which is hilarious because they stole Cal's fight song and use the same one . lots of credibility with that one

He should be kicked in the nuts for that. How can you not be so biased that LSU's song is not number 1. Hearing the song raises the hairs on my arms. But, I guess he's trying to be as objective as possible.

That's one man's opinion...although it is WRONG, it is his opinion.

Further, he lost all credibility when he said boomer sooner made the list; this was after he said the song originally came from Yale.

Considering most LSU fans don't even know what the real fight song is, I wont complain about this ranking.

I like Michigan's fight song as well....

easy to manipulate

...
Hail! To those M_ther F_ckers
Hail! To those Big C_ck Suckers
Hail! Hail! To Michigan the Cesspool of the World!
(commonly heard around the horshoe on Saturdays)

I agree, I think when most people think of the LSU fight song, they think of the 'pregame song'. The fight song is good, but the 'pregame song' makes my butthole pucker up.

He told you

Trouble with these type things is that they are very subjective, and truth be known, we might not have even got 12th if another person had listed his top fight songs.

Doesn't really matter though. Pregame is tops in my book and always will be, and YES, I am VERY BIASED, but I couldn't care less.

Overall I thought the list was pretty lame, but I did like that it didn't include that friggin' Rocky Top!!

I don't know why but when I hear the "Sons of Westwood" I think of some Japanese lady on a unicycle balancing plates on a twenty foot pole (just listen to the song

I swear, he must have heard me say something similar. I've always said that that song sounds like something from the circus. I keep expecting to see a parade of bears in tutus, elephants, clowns and acrobats.

Thank you jbirds1.............I thought the dude was smokin something when he admitted to be an LSU alum, then put the Tidy Bowl fight song ahead of hours. That is until I saw that he included the OU fight song in the top 10. GIVE ME A BREAK! It only has 2 words..........granted, that's all the Sooner players can remember, but our boy must really be hitting the bottle if this is the best list he can come up with.

Michigan and Notre Dame have to be #1 and #2. After that, Wisconsin, tAm, LSU (as in "Fight for LSU") and Ohio State (in no particular order) come pretty close behind.

I personally like the Buckeye Battle Cry better than Across the field.

WARNING:Turn the volume on your computer down, or close your office door and turn it up. Either way, this should get the blood stirring.

Pregame is the greatest song (regardless of fight song, etc.) in all of college football.

I wish more people would learn the words to Fight For LSU. I think they're much better than Hey Fighting Tigers. It also works for all sports. Instead of the student section just clapping after a touchdown, everyone could be singing in unison (or atleast try to sing in unison).
