I was at the Rockets game last night and between the 1st and 2nd qtr's this dude asked his girlfriend to marry him. This video makes it look fake but if you could have heard how nervous he was when he asked and his long spill you would know it wasn't.

They blindfolded her and she was supposed to be looking for an autographed basketball on the court but instead he was at midcourt on one knee. Then he went through a long spill about the last 10 months and how great they were.

That's fake. I can tell by her reaction. Looked like some BAD acting. If it was real, Tracey is a punk for smirking and thinking it's funny.

I agree the girl looks like she's doing a bad acting job. If it's fake though, the dude did an incredible acting job. His voice was shaking he was so nervous.

The way she looked DIRECTLY into the camera kind of makes me iffy on this one.

Why would the Rockets stage a fake marriage proposal as timeout entertainment?? I agree, it looks suspicious, but why would someone stage this??

They didn't just stage it. It was a long drawn out ordeal. He was kneeling at midcourt and she was blindfolded. She didn't act like she knew he was there. She really looked surprise when she took off the blind fold and told him to get up.

Also, I think she would have said no right off if it was staged. She whispered some explanation in his ear.

it's not a new concept. more and more teams have been doing this over the past few years. more than likely definitely fake.

If it was staged, it probably was not the Rockets. Maybe those two are actors. Or just practical jokesters.

I know some people here in Houston who work for Rockets and they acknowledged today it was fake.
