How come only one side of your nose gets stopped up?

I can breathe perfectly well out of the left nostril, but the right one is all stuffy.

This happens to me when I'm laying in bed. The side that I'm laying on gets stopped up while the other side is clear. Then when I roll over, that side stops up and the other side clears.

my right nostril is slightly stuffed, but does drip like a leaky faucet. i'll be doing some paperwork at work and a drop will fall out onto the paper.

Seriously, you'll notice that around every 3 hours the nostril that is stopped up will change.
Your nostrils alternate to where one is closed while the other is open. Post in three hours and tell me if the nostril that is stopped up cleared and the clear one is stopped up.

Mine too. This is when I take a sudafed and then take a antihistamine, because no matter what it is always itchy and runny too with it being stopped up!
