Before the rumors start...

Les was offered a very small amount of money to go to UM. He wanted more and they said no. He basically got stiffed by his alma mater. So thos of you who said money wouldnt make him leave or stay, it is precisely what made his decision.

Truth be told ZeeDustin provided accurate info so far as everyone knows right now. The fact that Skip and such flew in at the last minute and changed things...as has pretty well been confirmed..shouldn't be held against the guy. Do you want info or not? He did the best he could and manned up on it more then most here. I say someone come up with some sort of Sig punishment and be done with it.

When Miles signs and it is announced, Les Miles and signed a contract extension to stay at LSU.

if the second part of your assertion is true...then it sounds like it is over.
the extension and pay raise was mentioned by Skip weeks ago, the fact that Carr left forced LSU to step it up a little. I'm sure Mich told Miles' agents the parameters of what they were planning to offer their next coach and Miles' agent said no thanks.
