rumor at the hotel, not confirmed. ESPN is NOT backing off of their story that says he is going to Michigan.

I'm guessing the flagship station for LSU sports has good "sources".

Herby KNOWS that Miles is goin to Michigan and that he is taking Tenuta with him. sounds like he talked to Tenuta and got confirmation. But he isn't using unnamed sources and he is stating it as fact.

Go figure Herby broke the story the day of the SEC championship game, do you think his timing was perfect or what???? Now that story is being challenged by local stories. This is crazy.

I guess the game in three hours means nothing to clm, the admin, and sadly some of the fans. To have a coach negotiating a new contract hours before a game of this magnitude is complete bush league. We are in final preperations for the game and the head coach is off in a room negotiating a new deal. UNBELIAVABLE

I think this is just an attempt by the LSU admin to cool down all of the fans since it was leaked before the game today that he was gone to Michigan (like we didn't know he would if offered) and that this was actually known to admin before the Arkansas game. They lied to the fans by stating he would talk to Michigan after the game. They were trying to "save face". They didn't want us to believe that he sold us out and prevented us from playing for the NC.

most of us are all ready over it...Skip looks like an idiot for doing this

do any of you think for one second that ESPN would put stuff up without a credible source

I admit it is kind of a low blow for Herbi to do right before the game

ESPN will not run a story without a credible source. Fact is miles was going to michigan and now it would appear he negotiated a new contract with lsu. None of this would be wrong in my opinion except for the fact this is all happening three hours before the seccg. Completely wrong on both miles and our admin. totally unfair to our team. and now they are going to have a presser two hours before kickoff.

For one thing, ESPN always seem to get some stuff wrong all the time.

Hell, they had Nutt to Nebraska...when Nutt was sitting on the runway changing his mind.

ESPN ran with Billy Gilliespie to Arkansas signed sealed and delivered...come to find out he was never going to Fayetteville...he was holding back for the UK job.

Looks like Herbie got this one wrong with the suits in Bristol.

He is staying folks...now if he got John T. from Ga Tech...things will be fine...in fact better.

LSU wins by 20 after this!

Do you think its possible that Miles had deal done with Michigan already and told Michigan not to say anything until after the SECCG or the deal was off? Kind of sounds like thats whats going on here. But who the frick knows!!

National Media has MISreported the winner of Presidential elections before...

I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that they got a coaching change wrong!
