Sorting out the rumors...

So i have been reading all of these things and trying to figure out how we get such conflicting reports. Just as an exercise lets assume that just about everyone that says they have a source really does. This does not rule out the possibility of the source being full of it but i don't want to accuse anyone of reporting bull on purpose. Anyway...i figure there only a few places these things could come from originally:

1. Les Miles: We haven't heard a ton from this side of it. Obviously he would probably remain tight-lipped if he was leaving or torn. I don't think we would get much out of him.

2. UM - Obviously they would be secretive and legal. Nothing official can be reported. There is surprisingly little save the request to meet. I don't think it is fair to characterize their silence in any direction. I think the request is a Miles leaves sign but the rumor mill from this side is pretty quiet.

3. TAF: You guys will have to help me out. These are the money people yes. As is the case i assume there are two kinds of people in this group. There are the kind that know stuff and the kind that are told what they want to hear. I think the difference in rumors from this group reflects that. What we don't know is who has what info. That is my opinion at least.

4. LSU Admins: I think you are gonna get two lines of info. The official line and the real. Sometimes these two are the same. Sometimes they aren't. I think some people have trouble telling the difference.

I could be wrong about much of this...i just figured kind of slotting some of this info in a category might help sort out what we are hearing.
