First off I do not want Miles to leave but if he does and Spurrier would be our new coach. How long would he stay? He is getting old.

I think he could come here and put in a good 5 years, maybe a couple more. I also think he's got a lot of good coaching left in him and he would dominate over here!

You do know he's lost four games in a row...and counting...? Clemson will make it five in a row this Saturday.

Spurrier is too old and isn't in to recruiting. I think Spurrier will wrap it up at USC. What about Tubberville? I know we all hate Auburn, but Tubberville is the reason for Auburn's success. He can recruit and coach.

well bowden and joe pa are about 80 something years old and they are still coaching, spurrier is only 62, he can coach until the day he dies, unless he shows signs he wants to retire soon.

Those are two completely different circumstances. JoePa and Bobby Bowden aren't making a change to a new university. Both of them are at institutions that they love and are committed to. Spurrier would have no real attachment to this university.

you may be right edge but i don't know, i guess if he coached a few years and loved it, he might stay but if not, he'll leave after a couple years.

I think it would be a great move on LSU's part to get the ole ball coach. Yes he is 62, but He does not have the players at USC that he did at Florida. If he came here then He would have the talent to do what he did at Florida.

He would have even more talent then he has ever had and I think it would be a scary sight on the football field with him as the HC. Im all for the visor coming here.

We need to get a younger coach who enjoys recruiting and is less concerned about playing at all the local golf courses!
